As luck would have it, my friend had a craving for Sugarbun, and since we're going off to the
Consumer Fair later on and would be a long day ahead, we went forth to satisfy his craving and went to the newly opened Sugarbun down in Gadong

This be the signboard and entrance of the fast food restaurant. One of pretty interesting Malaysian chain that expanded all the way here, it's located in Gadong which is at the same block with Incomm and Ayamku. Never thought there was one here though. It could be the branch that was taken over of its location by Buffalo Steakhouse, but who knows?

Trigger-happy on the outdoor dining. The colour theme looks pretty cool

This be the interior, looks and feels like Sugarbun, but though I don't really remember it being that much of red. Maybe it's not too prominent a red when it was in Malaysia so I didn't really notice till now

The menu bar

Try to sneak a few shots of the hardworking men and women of the new Sugarbun

The utensils and sauce table

Trigger-happy around the area while waiting

Couldn't resist and started taking pics of the drinks first, mine: Dad's Root Beer, my friend's: 7Up (or was it 100Plus? Can't remember)

My friend's burger that I have "molested" trying to take a picture XD Interesting though that instead of the usual lettuce, cheese and tomatoes, they had cucumber and coleslaw for the filling, though I totally forgot what was the meat

My friend ordered a mixed platter, which consists of fish, chicken, mash potatoes and acar cucumbers. According to my friend, he likes the chicken here because it's crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, even for chicken breasts where as KFC is dry. I disagree. KFC still rules when it comes to chicken Xd

I too ordered a side dish of fries, but apparently they were so busy (or forgetful) that they forgot to write down my order as a reminder and absolutely forgotten all about me, and I had to go to the counter to ask for the food and show them my receipt. Meh~

Here's my fav dish of all times when it comes to ordering from Sugarbun: Sambal Eco fish! I ordered it to see if it does justice as the one cooked by the Malaysian branch. It's pretty true to it, though I can't shake off the feeling that something's amiss. I dunno, maybe it was just my dissatisfaction over the crappy service that got me thinking that. Never mess with a hungry person, especially me~!
There you have it, Sugarbun Brunei style. I know Brunei services tend to be slow and it's a good way to work on your patience, but this is ridiculous. Thank goodness I have inhuman patience or they would've suffered the wrath of my poison words of discredit! But can't really entirely blame them, this is a newly reopened branch and the workers there are probably new anyways, so we'll cut them some slack
So, to be fair, I would say it is quite a recommendable place for fast food if you're bored of the usual stuff you eat in Gadong area
