Low San Flat Noodle Shop

Another one of our cravings--noodles, this time--brought us to my part-timer's so-called best noodle shop ever, and surprisingly it's in a residential area!

This be the entrance of the shop. It's located in Low San Flat on the way to town. Apparently this place has a bit of a long standing history of selling pretty good noodles, and if I'm not wrong, belongs to a relative of one of our supers

Trigger-happy on the drinks machine, in which you can just open and grab whatever you wanna drink and make yourself at home

Chinese New Year goodies sold at the near entrance, though to be honest it looks a bit pricey ^^;;

This be the interior of the shop. It basically is the usual layout of an apartment home, only it's been converted into a mini restaurant of sorts with the supposed walls between rooms knocked off or something, though somehow it just feels kinda weird to eat in this place, like we're intruding to someone's home or something

Trigger-happy on the cute little painting they have there

Our drinks: mine grass jelly and hers chrysanthemum tea

I ordered side dish of wantan, though technically I ordered kolo wantan instead of wantan soup, but it's no big, just fine, same thing, different medium

I ordered wa tan ho coz I had a sudden craving for it, though this is actually the first time I seen wa tan ho that black. Normal wa tan ho that I've showcased and eaten so far are clear and translucent in colour of their sauce, so when this came in, I was like "Wow" when I saw it being black sauce. The very first black wa tan ho ever XD

My part-timer ordered mi sua, and this is actually another different way of cooking mi sua, as the rice wine they used is actually red in colour than the usual translucent yellowish colour, making the chicken look reddish as well

She complained that mi sua was not filling enough because of the portion and decided to order their in-house kolo mee, in which we shared together 50-50. Tastes pretty good, but a bit on the oily side actually

So if you have a craving for home-made noodles in a literal home-made sense, you can come over here and give this place a shot. I'd give it a 5.5/10
