Big Papa's Restaurant

Went to one of our lunch dates down in Kiulap area and, upon my friend's craving, we decided to go to Big Papa, since I've been there but never done a piece on it

This be the signboard and the entrance of the restaurant. It's situated in the Kiulap area and it's at the ground floor of the block next to the one where Misato is. Technically I've been here a few times, especially when my hubby's cousin/boss holds mini-functions for his staff (probably because he's a bit of a miser XD) but never really had the chance to make a piece of this place, so it's probably a good chance for me to do so

This be the interior of the restaurant. It's one of Brunei's most fast-growing and popular local fast food restaurants that serve amazing local and western cuisines at a fraction of a price, and the cooks are quite versatile in making all those food. One look at their menu and you can see a fusion of dishes served. It's pretty amazing actually, considering that this is a local branch. It's rare to see fast food restaurant actually providing food of a usual Asian/Western restaurant would provide

This be the upstairs dining/function area of the restaurant. This is where we go to whenever my hubby's cousin/boss holds his functions here, and there is even a small playhouse for the kids to play or entertain themselves in while the adults occupy themselves with their own things

Trigger-happy on the cooks of Big Papa making their magic, though you can see the frying pan looks like it's been used for quite a while without scraping off the burnt marks... -_-;;

Both of us ordered root beer while waiting for our order to arrive. The bubbles reminded me of a starlit sky XD

My friend ordered stuffed chicken meal set, and as you can see that chicken is just absolutely lathered and buried in cream, an amazingly sinful indulgence right there, though not sure what cream was it they use

This is how the inside of the stuffed chicken look like

I ordered sizzling lamb set meal coz I was gunning for something filling, and it smells and tastes absolutely amazing. The sauce blends really well with the meat and the fries and vegs were good too. The meat was quite chewy though and a bit hard to cut, so either they made it too well-done or they just used old meat

And this is how sizzling it sounds like!

Big Papa is pretty worth the place to go to for quality fast food, and affordable at the fraction of a price pay from a normal restaurant that sells the same food. Also a good place for small gatherings and mini-functions if you're feeling a little tight on the wallet
