Kedai Makan dan Soto Rosmini

Had to go renew my driving license, and since I'm using my friend's driving services, it was only right that I treat him to lunch, so he took me to a place where it serves the best soto noodles ever

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located within the Gadong area, possibly in the same row where Ching Nam Hoong is, and it's at the block of Bangunan Hj. Abu Bakar. If I got my facts right (hopefully), soto noodles are actually soup noodles that are privy towards Malay-style recipe that was cooked the way the ancient Malay culture who were descended from the Indonesian side, and has been handed down to all Malays who can cook ever since, and I'd definitely would not want to miss out trying a Bruneian Malay style of soto

This be the interior of the restaurant. Quite a small quaint one and feels like one of those Chinese kopitiam kinda feel to it, although it's not a Chinese kopitiam to begin with. Though I say, those seats are not gonna look any classier just by draping pretty chair covers made out of cheap cloth over it ^_^;;

"Coz you're hot and you're cold, you're yes and you're no..."

My hot Milo drink, since apparently warm drinks work easier on my ill-proned belly than cold drinks ever since the food poisoning incident

My friend's iced teh tarik, which looks kinda yummy, but I didn't order it, though part of me wished I did

These are our soto, mine with just meehoon and my friend's a mix of regular noodles and meehoon. We ordered the beef one and it actually tastes really nice. Usual soto noodles are clear and is often very salty to the point where you'd practically have to drown yourself in water just to quench that thirst, but this one actually is quite dark in colour and it's actually quite flavourful. You can really taste the flavour of the meat bones that was used to make the soup and it doesn't taste you're drinking pure salt or anything, and the meat and noodles are quite tender to the taste, plus the crunchy vegs are just a combination to die for. I enjoyed every drop of it, to the point where I actually emptied my bowl!

So if you're looking for the best quality and best tasting soto in Brunei, take my word for it because I took my friend's, that this is the place you absolutely gotta be. No reservations needed. Just go there, sit down and order. You won't regret it
