Jaya Hypermart Foodcourt

Our lunch date today takes us all the way to Gadong area, where since we're not craving anything particular, we went to eat at the food court in Jaya Hypermart

This be the entrance of the food court. It's situated within the Jaya Hypermart, which is partially conjoined with the Centrepoint Hotel in the heart of Gadong area. Technically I made a pass through this place countless times, but actually this is my first time eating in here. Yes, I know, I'm pathetic, sue me -_-*

This be the interior and rows of stalls that occupied the food court. Most of these stalls are quite popular around, especially places like Foodzone, Coffeezone and the like. There were so many choices, it's kinda hard to just pick one

Finally we made our choice: My friend ordered from somewhere familiar, which is Sari Wangi, while I ordered from somewhere new, which is Maju Fast Food

My 100Plus drink

My friend's Dad's Root Beer

My friend ordered his usual favourite of nasi penyet from Sari Wangi, looks pretty good, although it feels as if it's a little bit downgraded than the actual dish it's usually served in the restaurant itself

I ordered Penang fried kuey tiaw from Maju Fast Food, initially because I wanted to try the clams, but sadly the lady boss of the stall said that locals here are not exactly much of a fan of clams and it's a little hard to get, so they only serve with the standard seafood or meat. Ah, too bad, but it still definitely tastes of the sinful oily indulgence goodness Xd

There you have it, my two cents on Jaya Hypermart Foodcourt, it's worth going if you're in Gadong area but don't know what to eat or where to choose from, or if you're just not that picky, or you just feel like eating something in random.
