Nadj Restaurant Reprise

Went out for lunch with my part-timer colleague and at first she had wanted to take me to a restaurant which she claims is the best chicken rice around our area (still not as best as Thien Thien's though), but because it was closed probably due to the still lingering New Year spirit, we decided to revisit Nadj again.

I decided to indulge myself a little and ordered chocolate milkshake. Aside from the not-so-occasional chugging of soft drinks and box juices at home, it's been a while since I drank anything cold since cold was not exactly doing my gut so good during my food poisoning recovery period. So yeah, got me a chocolate milkshake

Either my part-timer ordered lemon ping or honey ping or something, coz I totally can't remember what this was

Service was exceptionally slow that day because apparently there's only 3 people working in the restaurant, and the waitress who served us looked kinda stressed out and like was gonna blow up into a fit of rage at any given moment once the button was pushed or something. Well, doesn't really give much of an excuse not to serve customers with a smile now, does it?

I ordered Pattaya Rice Special. Apparently there's two, the regular and the special. The difference is that for the special, you can ask for any filling you like but for the regular, it's just plain fried rice and egg over it. Odd. Never heard of Pattaya Rice being segregated to regular and/or special

My part-timer ordered roasted chicken rice, and the chicken came out looking rather red, like they overdid it with the food colouring or whatnot. And oddly enough, the chili sauce condiment was spicy and sour whereas the chicken was served in sweet soya sauce, which is a pretty weird combination if you ask me -_0

There you go, reprisal of Nadj done. May have another reprisal if I feel like it, but it's pretty much alright at the moment as it is
