Zyar Restaurant

My kismesis and I discovered that there is actually a restaurant that we never tried before just across the street of our office, so when he told me we're going somewhere new, I quickly armed myself with my camera and went with him to that place, which is called Zyar Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located at Kiarong Complex area, across the street where I work, and it's at the block behind the block where Adika and Nadj Restaurants are. Never knew it actually existed, since it's so far back down towards the end of the block

This be the interior of the restaurant. Looks just like any other Malay kopitiam kind of restaurant, nothing new. Though it feels probably slightly cramped up than usual due to the space about it

My 100plus...

...vs my kismesis' Pepsi Twist. More of a Coke person myself

My kismesis ordered fried meehoon, which apparently was a little too salty for his taste (and mine), and the more he ate, the more salty it was that my kismesis could no longer stomach it

I ordered buttermilk chicken, which looked like it was more butter than milk. It was as if whoever cooked it, just slapped a chunk of butter into the dish and cooked it as it is. You can literally smell the butter emitting from it. While it tasted more or less alright, it was friggin oily, and definitely a ticket to Cholesterol-ville

My kismesis swore that he would never set foot in this restaurant again, but for me who isn't a picky eater, I'll just have to say that it just needs a bit more work, is all. Only recommendable as last resort though.
