New Ahan Thai Restaurant

The usual girls night out with my girlfriend led us all the way to the Gadong area, where we decided to go for Thai food, and definitely this would be the next best place to eat: New Ahan Thai Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located a block away from Thien Thien Restaurant Gadong branch. We technically have been here once but at the time I don't have a camera, so only now, I'm got a chance to do a piece on it

This be the interior of the restaurant. Feels very orangey with the low yellow lighting, though unfortunately the low lighting and all that didn't make the area any warmer for the high-ass air-conditioning and all that


I ordered this mango mixed with orange slush drink, and somehow oddly enough, it tastes like kasturi or something. LOL, wonder if that really is supposed to be a mixture of mango and orange or maybe they used cordials to create that


My gal pal's usually Diet Coke, or was it Coke Light


My gal pal ordered her usual butter milk chicken. Looks nice and tasty and buttery, but I didn't really try it


I kinda forgot what the name of the dish I ordered, but it's pretty much fish fillet with dark sauce, cashew nuts and tons of onion slices. Tastes pretty good, flavourful, but more or less like a "standard procedure" kind of taste

Price is affordable, comfy space, and a good place to enjoy some alone time with friends and family or just yourself and nice food. Pretty recommendable
