For this entry, my kismesis said that he would be having a lunch date with his gal, but his gal would be fine if my BFF and I joined in, and another catch was that we were going to go vegan. Since I'm not really much of a picky eater, we went along with him and came to Mitou Vege Restaurant

This be the signboard and the entrance of the restaurant. It's located within the Jalan Tutong area, across from Lucky Restaurant and opposite Golden Leaf. Actually I've been there once with my lady boss when I was still working in Brudirect, but you know me. Haven't really got into blogging or anything and have yet to have my own camera, so only now am I able to do a piece (though technically not exactly a camera per se in this situation, so it's pretty much redundant
The interior of the restaurant, which is jammed packed with people. Just like the other vegetarian restaurant I've been, food here is free and you pay at your discretion and at your own choice of amount, since it's like a sort of a for-a-good-karma-cause kind of restaurant. And of course, there is such thing as free lunch in which you can either choose to pay or not pay, up to you, and you know everybody loves a free lunch once in a while
We could not dining downstairs due to the tables that were super full, so we went upstairs to the first floor as they have extra tables upstairs
This be the upstairs dining area, which was just as jam-packed as the one downstairs, but as luck would have it there is an empty table there for us to sit at the back, so we took it without hesitation
The utensils needed for dining
Everything is served buffet style, so you'll have to wait in line for the food
Some of the food available
So-called desserts and drinks
A really, really "BLARGH" version of chrysanthemum tea, without the sugar and all that, and I think they've made a concentrated batch which overpowered the sugar water I mixed in with to give it more taste. Urgh~! Going vegan is sure not easy XP
This be the food they have, which is ladies' fingers, spinach, mixed vegs, tofu skin, fake pork and a selection of either meehoon or rice, which I chose the former. I had to take seconds because it was totally not filling enough. I'll say it once and I'll say it again: going vegan is NOT easy
