Was out on an office errand during the weekday, so had lunch with my buddy, and he took me down to eat somewhere near the far end of Muara area, which is SSEAYP Brunei Cafe.

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's located at Hasanin Complex, same row with HSBC but at the far end. From what I understand through their details of their Facebook, it's like some sort of organization (probably non-profit) and this cafe was, as they called it, "a meeting place for PYs and ex-PYs, NLs, Admin staff".

Trigger-happy of the exterior

This be the interior of the cafe. Looks more like a restaurant than a cafe, and they've got pretty nice settings, though sadly there doesn't seem to be much of a patronage going on, as for most restaurants in Brunei. Maybe it's because of the location, I suppose

Trigger-happy on the props of the restaurant

We both ordered Horlicks, but mine is a hot drink while his is a cold drink. Just thought that since the air-conditioning was cold as hell, might as well get something to warm me up, even if it's just my belly

We both ordered their in-house ayam penyet meal, which, despite the long wait, came out looking pretty good and tasted quite nice actually. It's pretty much ayam penyet in a literal sense as the chicken more or less completely flatten except the drumstick bone itself. LOL. The vegs are fresh and the chicken is pretty flavourful, if not a little too dry for comfort, though the soup is practically highway to Cholesterol-ville.
If you wanna have a bit of privacy away from the hectic life and busy schedule and not in a hurry and don't mind waiting, this could be a good spot for you. Possible reprisal.
