Ayamku Restaurant

Stayed back at my hubby's office to show my support on his long months of hard work to complete the DES project (in which if he didn't get it done by end of June, it's Brazil eloping for us), and when it's time for dinner, we went for Ayamku

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. This is actually Brunei's very own fast food restaurant which had a long chain of franchises throughout the whole of Brunei. They also own their very own Ayamku Seafood Restaurant (which sounds kinda super weird, get it? Ayamku, chicken, seafood...?) The owner of the restaurant franchise is also the owner of a chicken ranch that pretty much provides chicken to the entire Brunei food chain

This be the interior of the restaurant. Looks just like any other restaurant around, though you can tell from the chairs and tables what their theme colour is

My Milo drink...

...and my hubby's Dad's Root Beer (which I bet not really that popular back in my hometown)

My hubby and I ordered Ayamku Special, though I don't really see what's entirely so special about it, since it's no more than just like a nasi katok-ish kind of dish, just minus the hot sauce and addition of acar, but well, beggars can't be chosers. They've always tasted fairly good neways, even though they still cannot rival KFC

This would the Ayamku Spring Meal, in which you literally get a spring chicken, well, half of a spring chicken that is, along with rice and acar. Nice to eat, tedious to finish, especially when you're a slow eater (trust me, I've eaten that before)

So if you fancy a different kind of fried chicken, local one in fact, go ahead and check out Ayamku. Pretty recommendable for those with the chicken munchies
