This is a pretty recommendable restaurant, since this is usually my old haunt when I was in my first few years of being in Brunei, though unless you are not used to spiciness or maybe a little too immune to it, but still, it's a good place to eat

Lemongrass Restaurant
Another week, another bulk of foodiez to post. This time we will start off with a little Thai, in which we decided to eat at Lemongrass, since I've been eating there forever but never done a piece on it

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It is located in the Kiulap area just a few doors away from the Kiulap branch post office. Technically this was my very first Thai restaurant I went to when I was in my early years in Brunei but only now, I had the chance to do a piece about it. LOL! Well, better late than never!
This be the interior of the restaurant. It's nice and quaint, with the sounds of Thai broadcasting out from their TV that somehow managed to have Thai channel of some sort, though I doubt that the workers there were anywhere Thai for sure.

Going trigger-happy on the surrounding decors and infrastructure around, which, like most Thai restaurants, were wood-themed
Apparently they sell young coconut juice too, but I wasn't really in a mood to drink that

More trigger-happy moments
I absolutely love the table we were sitting at. If we're chess enthusiasts, we could just bring the chess pieces and use this as our board. LOL!

This is what my friend ordered: Thai milk tea. Tastes almost a bit like teh tarik the last time I tried it, but something else as well, though I'd probably stick to my usual actual teh tarik

This be what I ordered: Chocolate shake. Tastes nice and thick, though a bit of hint of cocoa powder in between

I ordered the usual in-house food, which is the Tom Yam mihun soup. Either they cut down on the spiciness or I'm immune to it coz it wasn't as spicy as I last eaten it

We ordered pandan chicken as well, basically Thai version of broiled chicken wrapped in pandan leaves. The moment the food came out we could really smell the pandan mixed with the chicken fragrance in it, and it totally made our mouths water
Le inside of the pandan, revealing the chicken. Nice and tender, easy to chew and the flavouring was just right, really yummy stuff

My friend ordered his usual Thai food as well, which is the green curry with rice. I have yet to know how this version taste like, but it'd probably be better if we had eaten the Jerudong version, I suppose

We also ordered some spring rolls, since we've been impressed by the spring rolls we ate at Sawadee House and liked to know how this version tastes like. For one, they were definitely a bit different even in terms of size and make, as it was longer and a bit thinner, and the inside was actually stretched prawn. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. Just the way I like it, but still not as good as the one in Sawadee House
This is a pretty recommendable restaurant, since this is usually my old haunt when I was in my first few years of being in Brunei, though unless you are not used to spiciness or maybe a little too immune to it, but still, it's a good place to eat
