Tasty Corner Sdn Bhd

My best friend and I had to go work on a Sunday, so before we went to the office, we decided to start our day with a bit of a brunch, and since my other colleague was dining somewhere nearby, we decided to join him here, in Tasty Corner

This be the signboard and the entrance of the restaurant. It's located at the overhead road of Gadong and just next to Standard Chartered Bank of the main branch and the same block with Hua Ho of this branch as well. Though to be honest, if it weren't for the signboard, I wouldn't know it's here actually

This be the interior and the decors of the place. The clock they have on the wall really reminds me of those Tai Chi or those Feng Shui dials you use to locate feng shui or locate ghosts like in those famous Chinese horror movies. LOL~! Other than that, everything looked just like the design of an old-school Chinese kopitiam

As usual, I will always start my day with a cup of iced Milo

And my best friend would always order his usual Kasturi ping

We ordered the usual morning dim sum, since that is pretty much the closest thing available that doesn't require us to wait for our meal. These are the dim sum that we ordered:

Chicken feet

Lamb chop

Siu mai

Lau chu foon

Salad prawn

To be honest, the food around here was a-OK. Not too good, not too bad either. If I were to have a choice, I would probably prefer the dim sum in Lucky Restaurant rather than here, because seriously, this is not exactly the best dim sum I've ever tasted. Pretty alright, but not the best.

So if you're interested in a quick breakfast, this may be a good spot for you, but I would advise that you order anything but dim sum from this place if you're looking for a good dim sum breakfast/brunch.
