Youme Restaurant

After meeting up with the guy in charge of our backdrop to find out the prices and package offers, my hubby and I, along with our MC, went to somewhere nearby to have dinner, and we decided to eat at Youme Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. Situated in Menglait at the same area where Quadrovision and Tien Hsing Vegetarian restaurant is. According to my hubby, this is the sister branch of May Fang, but not sure if he actually meant it

This be the outdoor dining of the area, since we want to have some fresh air and not freeze to death indoors. It has a pretty kopitiam setting more or less, and quite empty since it's way past dinner time, but at least there is a big projector TV to entertain us. Unfortunately, can't really hear the sound through the din and instead of actual entertaining shows, they switched to football. Goddammit!!

While I went to the loo, I managed to have trigger-happy on the interior of the restaurant. Those dirty old men over there, if it were back in my hometown in KK, would probably be boozing instead of drinking cheap tea XD

Le MC decided to go healthy and ordered herbal tea, though it pretty much defeats the purpose of cooling off when you're drinking it cold when you're supposed to drink it warm

My hubby ordered Teh-C ping, and I had to trigger-happy on it to show the MC what a blog whore I am

My drink of 100Plus

As usual, my hubby often ordered what he usually order in Chinese restaurants when he can't find anything special that suits his fancy: Wa Tan Ho. LOL! I tried the sauce and it's nice and thick, though I have a feeling the vegs and seafood literally buried the damn noodles

I ordered Tom Yam noodles, though I forgot to tell them that they should give my noodles as meehoon instead of the usual yellow noodles. Not bad, the taste, but it's more towards sour than spicy though. They could use a little less lemon grass and lime, I suppose

Here you go, my two-cents on the place. Nothing too fancy or interesting to report, it feels more like one of those casual kopitiam restaurant where it's pretty much a forgettable experience, but fine to visit to eat if you're feeling hungry while you're within the area and don't fancy to starve yourself with vegan food XD
