Pastamania!

After a long day at work (and realizing my hubby's mom is doing OT), we decided to eat out after running a few extra wedding errands (again!) and decided to give this new restaurant a shot, which is Pastamania

This be the signboard and the outdoor decors of the restaurant. The restaurant is situated within the new Times Square, probably one of the many franchises around the globe, that was recently opened at our area in Berakas, which is considered our airport mall and just across the street where the block where Axtivo Restaurant is situated (small world, eh?)

This be the real entrance of the restaurant within the shop

This be the interior and decors of the restaurant. It definitely has the US bistro cafe feel to it and judging by the number of customers they served that they have at their cashier counter, I'd say it must be pretty bloody popular, although I'm not sure whether it's been brought forward by the original branch or it's the actual number of customers served within their Times Square branch

My hubby ordered orange juice, and this one looks much better as its namesake than the one in May Fang. Maybe because it's not real fresh orange juice, I suppose XD

I ordered white coffee, for the sake of staying awake because I had brought work to do at home and also to keep warm, since I'm not exactly being in the warmest of areas and drinking cold stuff is just going to freeze my butt off

We ordered the soup of the day, which is cream of tomato, and it was really as much as its price indicated: in such a friggin' small bowl!! We barely even tasted much of it before it was empty! But it tastes pretty good. An interesting flavour for a veggie soup

My hubby ordered their spaghetti bolognese. It looks quite interesting and yummy, too bad I forgot to a far-off shot of his food. Apparently here in Pastamania, you're given the choice of choosing your own style of pasta for your meals, be it linguinne or fettucini or the like, so he ordered the old school one for his spaghetti (totally forgot what that bloody name was >.<;;)

I ordered one of their seafood menus that had mussels in them, since it's been forever since I ate mussels, and the pasta I picked was linguinne (I think). The pasta and the sauce was pretty good, and the mussels were oh-so-fresh-and-Q kind of feeling. Mm-MM! Though I couldn't resist sprinkling tobasco on it for the sake of spiciness

Our appetizer of hash browns, which was supposed to come first, came last of all. Pretty unique design of displaying their hash brown, and it's nice and crispy and pretty flavourful. I almost wanted to eat the whole thing on my own LOL

That's the outtake of my experience in Pastamania. Possible reprisal required XD And it is highly recommended and quite affordable to eat there. We went there another time during my eldest sis-in-law's birthday (but didn't have time or chance to do a reprisal) and apparently they do birthday parties by hiring mascots to entertain us. It's pretty interesting.

So fancy a bit of affordable Western food while you're in the Berakas area? Go here!
