Yappy Kopitiam
Next stop: Yappy Kopitiam~! We were looking for a place to eat and there was one nearby my friend's mom's working place, and she wanted to join us, so we went there.
This be the signboard of Yappy Kopitiam. This shop had a history of being quite popular within the Water Village (I think) until they finally branched out and made their foothold on land. It is situated near the famous Thien Thien restaurant and it's at the edge of the row of shophouses that were opposite a plaza near Hua Ho in Kiulap.

This be the interior of Yappy. Nice and quaint, small and simple, though just a little too crowded and have to squeeze between people to get to a seat. Apparently this place is actually quite popular among the Chinese community, though we still do see some Malays sitting outside the open-air seats enjoying a drink or two
This is what I ordered: Curry chicken kolo mee and 7up. The portion is quite small, to be honest, but they taste pretty good, especially the curry. It's so sinfully oily, fat and yummy. Pretty delicious, I must say.
This is what my friend ordered: dumpling kolo mee (or was it siu mai?). Looks delicious, and also has my favourite dumplings in them, though thankfully I didn't order them because there were century eggs as stuffings. Blergh~! XP I hate century eggs. Hated them ever since I ate one whole when I was a kid and puked.
This is what my friend's mom ordered: fish ball kolo mee. It seems that the century egg dumpling is a complementary dish for those type of kolo mee, but thank goodness I didn't get it, coz I totally can't stand century eggs.
