Golden Leaf Coffee House

We went to get my marriage certificate on Tuesday, but it was not ready, so we went to have lunch nearby the same place where Lucky Restaurant was, called Golden Leaf Coffee House.

This be the signboard of the shop. This place is technically very well-known for its bah kut teh, but since we were rushing for time coz my hubby's work, we settled for their Chinese fast food.

This be the interior of the shop. It looks almost exactly like the design of the ground floor at Lucky Restaurant with the hanging ducks and chickens and whatnot, and it sometimes reminds me of the coffee shops back in KK coz they were mostly of this nature


This is what we both ordered: char sau sau rou with rice. Taste pretty good, the meat is pretty tender and thick, and gives a nice chewy flavour to it, and along with the sauce on the rice, it was the perfect combination. Plus their complimentary corn soup was just as good.

Great place to eat for bah kut teh (which I might blog about it next time), but if you want Chinese food that is almost equal to Lucky, you can give this a shot
