It's really nice, the good ol' classic KK coffee shop food. Simple yet tasty. It's always the small pleasures that can sometimes be the most satisfying.

Chong Kee Coffee Shop
Went for breakfast the next day with my dad before we did our business, and he led us to here, though as usual he didn't eat much. We had a heavy dinner on the day we came to KK, but I totally forgot to take pictures~! Gah, maybe next time.
This be the signboard of the shop. Judging by the condition, it is a pretty old Chinese coffee shop. My dad originally wanted to take us to have dim sum in a famous restaurant across the street, but since it was jammed packed with people, we came here instead. It's located among shophouses a few miles away from Beverly
This be the inside of the coffee shop, just like any other regular coffee shop here in KK where rents are relatively cheap but the space is practically murder.
This be the food we ordered: Kolo Mee with signature soup. My dad ordered porridge to eat, since he already had a light breakfast in the earlier morning (he bloody wakes up at 4am doing god knows what). Our kolo mee is the regular yellow thick noodles with sauce that you have to mix them about to spread the sauce, and the fillings like meat and whatnot are separated from it and served with the signature soup. My fiance wasn't really a fan of "spare parts", so I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It's really nice, the good ol' classic KK coffee shop food. Simple yet tasty. It's always the small pleasures that can sometimes be the most satisfying.
