Bundusan Restaurant Sdn Bhd

On our last day in KK, my dad treat us to have dim sum breakfast nearby, so we went to this place called Bundusan Restaurant Sdn Bhd

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's located within the Beverly area just a bit ways off Luyang where Reservoir Garden Phase II housing estates are. If I'm not mistaken, it is also the same area where Chong Kee Coffee Shop is the last time we came here

This be the interior of the restaurant. It's nice, big and spacious, though there is quite little customers around despite being the breakfast peak time, probably because of the nearby competition (or maybe coz there has been a bit of unprofessionalism going on in the restaurant that's really buzzing people off)

My Milo ping...

My dad's black coffee...

My hubby's warm lemon tea...

My dad-in-law's Kopi C (less sugar)...

And my mom-in-law's Teh C

For starters, we got the fried and dried stuff, which are...

Pork and century egg wrapped in tofu skin (which prolly is not my fav XP)

Crunchy chicken samosa

Spring rolls

Yam confectioneries

Then comes the creme de la creme of the dim sum breakfast, which is the dim sum itself, consisting of...

Siu mai

Har kaw (prawn dumplings)

Chicken feet

Pai kut (lamb ribs)

Fish cakes wrapped in tofu skin

Dumplings

Another form of siu mai

Dumpling in tofu skin

Overall we had a very filling breakfast, and it was quite yummy, every single one of them, though I'm still curious as to how the competition tastes like. But this is a good alternative and should give this a shot

New Gaya Seafood Restaurant

On the final night of our stay in KK, my dad decided to treat us to an extravagant seafood dinner. So we went to the all familiar New Gaya Seafood Restaurant

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's locate a little further down the Luyang area and into the New Gaya section, thus the name of the restaurant. Technically I've been here once before, but I was too occupied that I forgot to take pictures of it, so this time, for sure I am gonna take an abundant of pictures

This be the interior and exterior of the restaurant. Just like any typical seafood restaurant, outdoor dining is more of the trend to dine. Apparently when we were there, someone was having some sort of wedding reception in there, so the whole area is booked

The rice to compliment our dinner for the night was garlic rice, which tastes pretty flavorful...

...although my dad decided to have normal white rice. Maybe garlic rice didn't really suit his taste

Below are the list of food we were served:

Clams...

Diced vegs with tofu wrapped in extra tofu skin...

Steamed and grilled prawn (which taste uber fresh, QQ, and just fucking delicious ftw!)...

Steamed fish (amazing head, pun not intended)...

Crab (which also taste uber fresh, QQ and yummy ftw)...

...and Sweet and Sour Chicken

All the food there was just as tasty as the last time I went there, amazingly finger-licking good, with flavourful sauce and texture, an absolute sensation to the tastebuds. Maybe it's because of the amazing flavorful food, this restaurant is absolutely jam-packed with people, even on a weekday! Whoever owns that restaurant must earn a ton and is a gazillionaire right now!

Ang's Hotel

After a long day's shopping, my mom-in-law's relatives called to ask us out for lunch, so we went to Ang's Hotel, though technically it's not a hotel restaurant, but just a kopitiam situated nearby the hotel of the same name

This be the signboard and interior of the place all in one go, since it's a small place. It is situated at the Sinsuran area as well, but more towards near the Gaya Street and also just opposite the Merdeka Mall across the streets. It seems to be jam-packed as well with people as were for Sing Heng, and it is amazing as to how so many people can fit in this small area. Apparently this restaurant, during lunch time, was famous for their chicken wings, so we shall put that to the test

Everyone else ordered either water or Chinese tea, and it wouldn't be nice to take pictures of drinks of others whom I barely know, so I just took a picture of my own drink, which is fresh warm barley, and now this barley is definitely up to standards in accordance to sweetness, just the way I like it

Here be the list of food that was ordered and displayed for lunch:

Eggplant (not my favourite but I still ate a bit)...

Long beans...

Omellette...

Their famous chicken wing (which passed the test as it tasted awesome-tastic that my hubby actually got 3 helpings of it)...

Tofu...

Pickled minced vegs...

...and sweet and sour pork

Overall the food is actually pretty good, but the chicken wings definitely stood out the most was the chicken wing. I couldn't resist getting a second helping either, what more the others. So if you're thinking of satisfying your craving for chicken wings, feel free to pay this place a visit
