Bite

Heya, peeps~! Sorry that I haven't been making decent updates these days, as I haven't really been going anywhere new and I was too pregnant to go out anywhere. But better late than never, right? Got me a bunch of new places that I managed to go during those times that I actually go out and tried something new. So let's get started with Bite.

Location: Kiulap area, right behing Sim Kim Huat Supermarket

Setting: Very minimalistic, with an Oriental flair to it, and apparently they have downstairs and upstairs dining

Close up shots of our food

Technically we came here out of a whim, to try something new and just so happen to stumble upon this new restaurant. Well, it looked new to us at the time, anyways. Who knows how long it had already set up shop. We didn't know either that it only specializes in bah kut teh food and nothing else when we looked at the menu, so yeah, it was a pretty refreshing experience.

The food was pretty good too, taste exactly how a bah kut teh should, though I guess the soup SLIGHTLY less flavourful than the ones sold in Red Leaf or Golden Leaf, but still acceptable. The set meal I ordered, which was pork trotters, was definitely delicious with the amazing fat and the rich sauce that comes with it with a hint of spiciness due to the chili they may have put inside. Wasn't really sure how the set meal of my buddy tasted like, but it looked amazing visually.

So those who have a craving for bah kut teh and don't want to wait in line forever to get a seat at the more popular restaurants, you can come and try here. Totes recommended.
