Restoran Muti'ah

During one of our lunch hours, we decided to go for broke (well, more like we're going broke) and try out a $5 buffet which our ex-super seemed to brag about it a lot, and that took us all the way to Restoran Muti'ah.

This be the signboard and the entrance of the restaurant. It's down at Kiulap area, on the small hill right behind the plaza near Palm Garden Hotel and Fitness Zone, if I'm not mistaken. This whole block is actually an entire row of restaurant specializing in buffets since the beginning of their business. In fact while we were looking for parking, another new restaurant was around the corner giving out leaflets to cars to promote their place. I think they're called Aiko Restaurant or something, apparently a Japanese-Malay fusion restaurant.

This be the interior of the restaurant. Looks pretty cozy, and almost just like any other Malay restaurants, they have their signature extension at the back there. It was really jam-packed with people young and old, which is pretty much the typical Bruneian bargain-hunters

The buffet available there is as follows:

White and fragrant rice...

Rendang and vegs...

More vegs and fried meehoon...

Soto, with noodles and condiments and fillings of your choice and soup of your choice...

Drinks of your choice both hot and cold...

...And desserts

The food is pretty tasty and flavourful, and it's all for only $5. It's pretty much a damn good deal bargain where you can just eat all you want. It's not the quantity served in the food, but the quality. And I gotta say, it definitely delivered.
