Red Leaf Restaurant

My childhood friends have finally done with their business trip and about to leave for Labuan for a few days before officially going back to my hometown, so we met up for brunch before sending them off, and our brunch spot led us to Red Leaf Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located in Jalan Tutong, and the same block with Lucky Restaurant. Not sure whether it's like a sister branch for Golden Leaf or anything, but they are rumoured to have food par to the latter

This be the interior of the restaurant. Despite the similar kopitiam-ish design it had like all Chinese restaurants do, it was slightly larger and had more space and extension than others. No idea why they decided to sit at the back inside the restaurant though, but I'm not complaining

Trigger-happy moment on the cute dim sum plate

...and my Milo ping

We all ordered their famous kolo mee, which apparently my hubby's childhood friend boasts it to be the best kolo mee in Brunei. It tastes more or less like any regular kolo mee, really. There's not much difference. The char sau and the wantan inside does taste much better than usual though

We also ordered some assorted dim sums, which tastes pretty yummy, though not as yummy as the ones served in Lucky Restaurant, namely:

Siu mai

Chicken feet

Har kao

Pai kut (ribs)

There you have it, my two-cents of this restaurant. It's not bad really. Not the best as my hubby's childhood friend claims, but still it's pretty edible and yummy at the least. Recommendable as well
