Rejoice Chicken Rice Reprise

Did another reprisal for Rejoice just for kicks since we're going to eat something different than just chicken rice this time

My other part-timer friend ordered Chinese tea, standard drinks for all Chinese restaurant dining

I ordered barley drink again. Can't seem to get enough of it whenever I'm eating in Chinese restaurants. They're nice and warm, though needs more sugar

My best friend ordered Kasturi ping as usual. No idea what his obsession with Kasturi ping XD

My best friend ordered steamed chicken rice, standard procedure for ordering food in a restaurant specializing in chicken rice, and it seems like apparently I was right, it turns out to be much oilier than it was claimed to be compared to Thien Thien as you have already known from my entry previously about Rejoice

My part-timer friend ordered fish curry with rice. Looks rather tasty, and the curry, which I snuck a sip, was pretty spicy and flavourful. Maybe one of these days, I'll order this too

I ordered pan mian, which is basically flat noodle with soup, one of the classic favourites of Chinese dining. While the soup is flavourful and the noodles nice and Q and all that, the only beef I have about this is that it doesn't have the most crucial of ingredients in the pan main dish: pork liver, which is my favourite

That's all for the reprisal of Rejoice Chicken Rice. Overall it was another satisfying meal gone by, though still not as promising as Thien Thien, but still a good place to go anyway if you can't find a seat in Thien Thien
