After a long day walking around in Windsor Castle, we finally settled down to have a late lunch, and we were brought to The King and Castle.
| Location: Within Windsor area, just a few blocks away from Windsor Castle |
Technically this place is called Wetherspoon, but since it's in a different district and it's near the castle, I guess they decided to flair the signboard a little to give it a sorta royal feel to it
| Setting: Almost like an English pub/bar with the trimmings of a restaurant. Pretty cool |
| Le menu |
| My hubby's orange juice, my bro in law's beer and my sis in law's Coke |
| My new favourite soft drink called J2O, which tastes pretty good and unique since it's a mix of flavours |
| Just felt like taking these sachet packs |
| Some kind of beef roast (I think) that my hubby ordered |
| Close up shot |
| My bro in law's burger |
| Not sure what is this named, but I think it's beef and kidney my sis in law ordered |
| My BBQ ribs. Never tried ribs like this before, and it's pork, so yeah |
I'm not sure about the other's food and how they taste like (thought I did taste my hubby's food and it tastes great), but my BBQ ribs were amazing. The meat was sweet and juicy and it just peels off so easily from the bone and just melts in your mouth. It's an amazing feeling, and the taste is just MMMM~~~~~~~!! Love it, love it, love it! I wish they made ribs in Brunei, but unfortunately ribs are primarily made of pork ribs, so yeah...wishful thinking...
