We were going to the museums for the day, and we had to walk through a couple of parks to get there, and we decided to take a break to have lunch at Serpentine's Bar & Kitchen
| Location: Within Hyde's Park |
| Setting: Feels more a bit of a market with a dining area, but that is if you didn't notice the cafeteria-ish counter where you go order your food, and yes, self-order and sorta self-service in this place |
| Real, actual sugar cubs. Neat! |
| Random shot |
| Our drinks of apple and orange juice. I think I grabbed the apple, and I was pretty thirsty, I think I drank half of it before our food came |
| Ordering the good ol' fashioned fish and chips, since we were pressing for time |
This batch of fish and chips was a little bit saltier than I would've like, and it's slightly oilier than the ones I've eaten back at White House and at the Tower of London. It's still good, just doesn't really feel as healthy as it should, what with the sprinkled large chunks of salt on it.
Personally I prefer my fish and chips with lemon and pepper instead of the salt and vinegar thing, but that's just me. And yeah, it seems like fish and chips are to Londoners as nasi katok is to Bruneians. They're everywhere! LOL
