Angus Steak Houses

After a really looooooooooooong day of waiting for Hugh Jackman to make our life complete, we decided to have dinner within the area, and after much deliberating, and a bit of craving for steak, we decided to eat at Angus Steak Houses

Location: Leicester Square, and apparently it has another branch just about a few blocks away! Wow, really that popular, huh?
Due to my dead camera and phone and my hubby's dying phone, I could only implore him to help me take the name of the restaurant and the food, thus what you see before you:

My hubby's 10oz rib-eye steak with mash potatoes and boiled vegs, with Diet Coke for drink

My 10oz rib-eye steak with mash potatoes and tomato and onion salad, with Fanta for drink

Apparently side dishes and sauce are sold separately, and if you didn't order it or if the waiter did not mention it to you, they most likely would not give it to you. There was unlimited refills if you ordered soft drinks, and the portion is, wow, really HUGE! I mean, seriously, it was HUGE. Thank God we didn't get the bigger portion of 17oz (or was it 24oz?), or we would've been stuffed, because even the side dishes were insane!

But still, the steak is nice and tender, albeit a little dry since we didn't order the sauce (sauce cost 2 pounds~! DX), and the side dishes were very flavourful. A very satisfying meal, a little bit too filling. Man, I wonder how do Westerners handle this kind of portion in their food. No wonder they're a little round on the edges

Overall rating: 7.5/10
