After a looooooooooooooooooooooooong day walking around certain towns and cities in London just to get the gist of things before we decide to go solo on our own, we finally managed to rest our feet and have a nice dinner, and after hunting for food places for a while, we got ourselves in Maxwell Bar & Grill
| Location: Covent Garden, that's...more or less what I know ^_^;; |
| Setting: Upstairs is a mini dining spot, but mostly a bar with those stand-up tables and stools, while downstairs would be the main dining area, which is uber jam-packed by the way |
| One of their offers |
| My cocktail drink, which is the Cosmopolitan |
| My hubby's cocktail drink, which is the Strawberry Mule |
| The kids' Coke and lemonade |
| My niece's ribs and chips |
| My eldest nephew's Wrap-A-Star, which is basically fried chicken fillet wrapped in taco wraps |
| My younger nephew's Spaghetti |
| My sis in law's Linguini pasta |
| My bro in law's spicy chicken with chips and apple coleslaw |
| My dish of Cajun salmon fillet/steak |
| My hubby's Sunday mixed grill |
| My dessert, which is a in-house Maxwell's hot fudge sundae, an offer that comes with their Sunday 2-course and/or 3-course meal |
| My younger nephew's dessert of chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice-cream and strawberry |
| The kids' dessert of fruit kebab with chocolate dip |
| My bro and sis in law's dessert, which look like some sort of cream pudding with raspberries or something |
It was a really, really filling meal, and I almost couldn't finish everything, but slow and steady wins the race...sorta. It's very satisfying and very delicious, and I enjoyed every bite of it. Though maybe I shouldn't have ordered cocktails to go with a meal like this, since it's better if I ordered a sweet drink or something. And besides, alcohol other than wine doesn't really go well with Western dining like this
