Shabulicious Restaurant

My hubby's cousin was treating us to dinner before our run to watch The Expendables 2 movie, so we wouldn't want to miss that opportunity, and surprise, surprise, we were being treated at Shabulicious Restaurant, the restaurant that I've been curious about since they first opened their doors to the public

Location: At Batu Bersurat area, where Neo Metro (the modern furniture shop) is in the same building

Setting: A regular shabu-shabu restaurant, almost similar to the one in Ice Bar & Cafe in Kiulap Plaza
Atmosphere: 7.5/10 (nice and full of people, though it's prolly due to sungkai time and whatnot, though it does give a feel that is a little better than its competitor)
Design: 7/10 (looks pretty good, interesting dividers and great colour scheme, and I would've added that line of pretty Japanese dolls from across the table, but there were quite a number of diners there that I didn't want to bother with my ominous presence)

The sauce stand, which is suspiciously similar to its competitor (plagiarism comes to mind)

Random shots of my eating utensils

Food: Beef sets (all ours except my hubby's colleague) and salmon set (my hubby's colleague)
Presentation: 8/10 overall (looks pretty delicious, though seeing from the menu, it's almost too similar to their competitor)
Taste: 7.5/10 (for mine at least, since I didn't really actually taste the salmon set, but the food seemed fresh enough, and the best part about the set is that it came with quail eggs, which is my most fav stuff to have for steamboats)

It's a good place to go to have shabu shabu if they run out of places at the Ice Bar & Cafe, since it's pretty much more or less similar in menu and stuff, and it's got a nice, bigger and spacious area for more room to eat, though it would be advisable to go with a big party since the tables are mostly for 4 people and above
