Bello Cafe

Finally, new updates for the food blogz~! For starters, we shall go for Bello Cafe!

Technically, my buddy and I planned to eat there, but too bad it was in the eve of its big debut, so it was full and no seats available, so we had to reserve the first few photos until we can use it next time we have a chance to eat there.

By the time my chance came, it was with my eldest sis in law and her kids to eat with my rents in law, so I took the opportunity to make the snapshots to blog about them.

Location: Ground floor of Kiulap Mall, at the far end of the building and same row with Guardian

Setting: A nice bistro cafe-ish setting with a very simple yet elegant colour motif, with everything in its place and also a nice side table for cookies and Mars Bars (dunno whether they're free or not), giving off a nice air if you're just here to have tea/coffee or lounge leisurely with your friends and family
Atmosphere: 8.5/10 (pretty good atmosphere, nice relaxing air about and great patronage, though a bit slow on the service)
Design: 8/10 (like I said, simple and elegant, a place you feel like wanting to linger for a long while, though they could've had a bit more space)

A random shot of their menu

Drinks: Teh C special (I think - my eldest sis in law) and hot chocolate (both me and my youngest nephew)
Presentation: 7/10 overall (pretty OK presentation, though the fudge on the side of the glass in our hot chocolate was a nice touch)
Taste: 7.5/10 (I dunno how the teh C tastes like, but I know mine tastes just right, not too sweet, not too bland, and just the right amount of thick)

Food: Spaghetti aglio olio (vegetarian spaghetti - my mom in law's), simply beef rendang (my eldest sis in law), angel hair carbonara with beef bacon (mine), egg in a nest (my niece's), smoked salmon delight with salad (my dad in law's), and plain hotdog (my youngest nephew's)
Presentation: 8.5/10 overall (kudos on the effort of presentation, not too fancy but not too plain either, though I gotta admit, the portion looks kinda slightly small, but then again I guess it's supposed to look that way)
Taste: I'm not really sure the others taste like, but I'd give 9/10 for my carbonara coz it was just super thick with egg and cheese sauce, and despite the small portion, the cheese and egg sauce makes it really filling, and the vegetarian spaghetti (which I snuck a taste) was also pretty good too, so I'd give it a 7.5/10 for the spaghetti

A pretty good place to relax and lounge and eat at your own leisure, a recommended place to be, though I gotta warn you, since this is an elegant kind of cafe, it's also slightly a little dear on the pocket
