Lotus Family Restaurant

Another lunch date with my buddy on his usual off-day, and he was kinda craving a bit of Indian food, so we decided to go the fabled Lotus Family Restaurant he raves about quite much. Technically I've been there before a couple of times too, but it was usually a family gathering and I didn't have time to make snapshots, so this was my opportunity to do a peace

Location: At Serusop area, towards the end of the block, next to Cartini (or is it Cartino) shoe shop, opposite the block where Hua Ho is

Setting: Typical old school Indian kopitiam, though it seems they've made a few changes on the tables and chairs the last time I went
Atmosphere: 7/10 (good patronage and an OK feel to have a leisurely lunch)
Design: 6.5/10 (nothing too impressive, like I said, typical old school style)

Drinks: Teh tarik India (my buddy) and sweet lassi (mine)
Presentation: 6.5/10 overall (old school style, nothing too fancy)
Taste: 7/10 (dunno what does my buddy's teh tarik taste like, but mine has the right amount of sweetness, no more, no less)

Food: Nan with chicken masala (mine) and special set lunch (dunno what's the exact menu name - my buddy)
Presentation: 7.5/10 overall (my food presentation was standard procedure, though my buddy's one looks pretty extravagant and the portion, while not large, is a lot)
Taste: 7.5/10 (I didn't really taste the set lunch my buddy has, but mine tastes pretty good. The nan is slightly tough, but the masala has the right spice, quite spicy and has a kick to my taste buds)

It's good place to go to if you're in for affordable kopi-tiam style Indian food, for a leisurely relaxing time, if you're not in a hurry to go anywhere, that is
