Golden Luck Cafe

We started our day a little late and couldn't proceed with having room service for lunch, or anywhere else specific for the matter of fact, so on the day for our outdoor shooting at noon, we decided to have lunch somewhere nearby the studio, and decided to have it here in Golden Luck Cafe

This be the signboard of the cafe. It's situated just at the ground floor of the same block as our studio and about a few feet away from the big Boulevard Shopping Complex in Miri Town

This be the interior and exterior of the restaurant. As usual, it's just like any Chinese cafe setting, with the usual hustle-bustle of the workers yelling at each other of orders and work and keeping in time, the only difference being that if you were to compare this type of cafe with any other cafe in Brunei, it's not as exciting and noisy. You feel more at home here

I ordered Milo ping and my hubby ordered Teh-C ping. Nice, sweet and delicious. Great way to start a day

My hubby ordered wa tan ho, though not sure how it would taste like for this shop, but the soup looks nice and thick enough

I ordered Singaporean fried beehoon. Technically I wanted to order chicken mi sua, which is thin noodles in rice wine soup with chicken, but unfortunately the cook making those dishes was on sick leave, so I settled with this instead. It tastes pretty good by far, nice and flavourful, though they could go easy on the fish cakes and be more generous on the char sau

Good place to go to if you are inclined to have a quick lunch after a long and tiring day of shopping at Boulevard, or to just have a drink to chat up with friends. Nice and affordable as well. A recommended 6/10
