Easy Way Tea & Cafe
Went off to have lunch with my hubby during lunch hour, and since we decided to eat somewhere nearby, we came here to Easy Way.
This be the signboard of the cafe. It's situated in Serusop area, I think a few bit miles off from the Serusop Hua Ho branch. They technically specialize in take-away smoothies and shakes, but they diversified to make more choices and eating in for extra income, I suppose

This be the interior of the cafe. As you can see, this is the students' favourite haunt when it comes to grabbing a quick drink fix, because it is situated opposite a high school of sorts. The stairs does not lead to an upstairs dining, so I assume it could be their own office or somewhat. By far, technically I've been here only once, and it was after a movie.
Their menu is nothing fanciful, just a huge piece of laminated A4 paper, and the food is old-school, but what I really like was the small little illustration at the corner of the menu. I dunno why, but I have a thing for vector art people. It just gives off that really retro pop culture feel to it

I ordered chocolate milkshake, while my hubby ordered jasmine tea. No idea what's so nice about jasmine tea. The last time I drank it, it tasted like burnt plastic. Blergh~!
My hubby ordered cornbeef fried rice, which is basically rice fried into a mesh together with cornbeef and nothing else, well, maybe a hint of eggs in between, that's about it. Just that singular cornbeef rice with no condiments or side dishes. It looks so alone in there.

I ordered fish and chips as usual, since I always like to sample the same menu in different places to see how they differ. They are definitely generous with the fries both amount and size-wise, and the coleslaw is fresh, cold and oh-so-coleslaw-tasty-good, and the fish was nice and crunchy on the outside, tender in the inside, though it's sad to see the crumbs coming off while you cut because that's the best part about eating fish and chips: the crunchy crumbs.
