Hommed Baga

Finally! A chance to post all my foodie escapades once again! Sorry for the super long MIA delay, thanks to my newfound life of motherhood and also having a new job (that has no internet access), but anyways, let's get eatin'!

After a long day at work, my hubby had a craving for burgers, so we went to our own local fast food restaurant Hommed Baga

Location: Around Gadong area, close to Menglait, near where the company Dreamz (?) where my hubby's ex-colleague's fiance works

 

Setting: Looks barely like a fast food restaurant.Well, more like a cross between a fast food restaurant and a kopitiam is more like it, LOL

We ordered it as take-out, and it somehow takes forever for them to get the burgers ready and while waiting, I saw them displaying the footage of their burger challenge, where they had to eat a huge ass burger about the size of a mini-wheel or something in less than 8 minutes and you will get that food for free. I saw the burger in real life. There is NO WAY a slow eater like me can finish THAT in 1 hour, much less 8 minutes.

Here's our order of the burger after we got it:

Big Lamb Whoopa (or something of that sense; my order)

Big Shroom burger (my hubby's order)

Technically I've eaten their burgers before, but I've never had a chance to take pictures of it since my hubby brought the take-out over to our home. It tastes pretty good. Not really a huge match up with McD's, but it's pretty good for a local-made burger, and I applaud them to be able to have their own franchise while most people would just sell meager burgers in night markets and stuff.
