Traders Cafe

Being that I was "abandoned" by both my BFF and my kismesis, I decided to have lunch with my other colleagues, and since our ex-super just so happen to be there, we decided to follow his lead to go eat out somewhere of his recommendation, which is Traders Cafe

This be the signboard, outdoor dining and entrance of the restaurant. It's located down in Mata-Mata near where the Traders Inn is, and in fact, this cafe is prolly under ownership of that hotel as well


This be the interior of the restaurant. Looks pretty good. From the front, it looks almost like it's just a small space and all that, but it technically extends all the way to the back with the kitchen gobsmack in between

My KL colleague and ex-super ordered wintermelon herbal sweet tea...


...and my timid little colleague ordered carrot juice



My ex-super ordered fried mee hoon, but somehow ended up they got mixed up and gave him regular noodles instead of mee hoon. LOL! They're lucky they didn't suffer our ex-super's wrath


I ordered fish head mee hoon with soup. Just felt like eating fish that day. Nice and quite flavorful, and the salty-sourishness of the soup is just right, and the fish is pretty fresh, though it could've been even fresher than that, but no big


My KL colleague ordered some sort of chicken with rice, though he tend to nitpick and shoved aside all the veggies, which I think is pretty much a big waste, since there is a LOT of veggies there



My timid colleague ordered kolo mee with wantan soup. Looks pretty nice, and I tasted one of the wantans when she said she couldn't finish, but I feel that it looks more like the dumplings that I used to eat when I was a kid rather than an actual wantan

Overall, it tastes pretty good by its own right. Recommendable to try, though you'll have to bear with slightly slow service and a couple of clueless waitresses in between.
