Happy Union Restaurant

As usual, it was girls' night out with me and my gal pal, so we decided to have Chinese, which is at Happy Union Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located in Gadong area, the same block with Thien Thien Chicken Rice (Gadong branch), C.Y. Lim Clinic, Booker International and Pizza Hut, and is opposite the block where Grazie Mauri, Excapade and Sari Wangi is. I've only entered this place once to help order take-out for my grandma-in-law so yeah, it's still considered as a 1st time entry

This be the interior of the restaurant. It seems that we have entered at a less peak hour because there wasn't much customers around and such, seems like business slowly picking up or something. Just looks like any typical Chinese kopitiam restaurant, but a little more towards a food court-ish setting

My gal pal's Sprite...

And my carrot juice, which I haven't had a gander in a long time. Tastes pretty good, just right amount of carrots and sugar

I ordered fish head meehoon soup, which I can smell that they've used a bit of rice wine to cook in the soup. It tastes pretty good and the fish is quite fresh and nice to chew and gnaw on, and the portion of the fish is quite big, just the way I like it

My gal pal ordered butter milk chicken with fried rice. Looks really yummy, though I didn't try it, so can't comment on that

So if you fancy Chinese dining but don't want to settle for the usual chicken rice, you can go here to try it out. It's nice and dandy and I bet it'll suit your appetite too
