The Soup Spoon

My hubby kinda woke up with an upset stomach after dining on street food last night, so we decided to dine light, and whaddaya know? There is one place could dine light, which is The Soup Spoon.

Location: Basement level, near the MRT station of Bugis Junction, within the Food Court

Setting: A nice bistro-ish kind of cafe, sorta, except that this only mostly specializes in serving soup instead of meals, and others as a side dish
Atmosphere: 7.5/10 (while the patronage is not so much, it has a nice quiet peaceful feel to it, like you can just stay here and do your own thing without bothering about petty disturbances and you can take your time and your privacy)
Design: 7/10 (simple and clean, not too cramped)

Food: Clam chowder soup (mine) and mushroom soup (my hubby)
Presentation: 8/10 (nice, thick and smells good, though it almost has the consistency of porridge)
Taste: 8.5/10 (very flavourful and packed with punch, and definitely has the consistency of porridge, prolly should tone a little down on that, but at least it's filling)

It's an interesting eatery that specialized only in soup, and really gives a whole new meaning of 'soup kitchen'. Should give this a try
