Ming Fa Fishball

We went on a trip to Singapore (which you can read here) and was waiting for the call from my hubby's boss/cousin to have dinner, but sadly he was a no-show, so we had to fend for ourselves, so to speak. There's a food street directly in front of the hotel we're staying in Chinatown and after scouring the area and picking and choosing, we chose Ming Fa Fishball stall.

Location: Right in the heart of Chinatown, just opposite the entrance of Santa Grand, Hotel Lai Chun Yuen in Temple Street

Setting: Typical roadside stall setting with open-air cooking, nice view to watch a cook in action
Atmosphere: 7/10 (good feel for a roadside stall atmosphere, busy and it seems that the patronage is also quite well-received here)
Design: Non-applicable for roadside stalls, standard issue

Food: Seafood noodles (mine) and in-house fishball noodles (my hubby)
Presentation: 7.5/10 for both (big portion and freshly made items in a bowl, and comes with a warm, tantalizing smell)
Taste: 7.5/10 (for mine at least, since it's cooked from the same soup, I assume my hubby's taste is the same as mine. Anyways very delicious, flavourful, with the soup having the nice thick veggie stock taste, and the seafood are quite fresh too)

It's a really good spot to catch some cheap roadside stall food, though you prolly have to make sure that your stomach is immune to roadside food, coz it got my hubby's stomach into trouble while I walked about just fine. But still, very recommendable. Should check it out
