The Rooster's Crow Restaurant

My buddy and I were not sure what to eat since we didn't plan beforehand, so we decided to be adventurous and surf around town, seeing if we can find something to eat and just wing it, and it led us to The Rooster's Crow Restaurant

Location: In Gadong area, the same row as Ahan Thai and a number of other shops, including a CD shop and a stationery store that I always go to get my drawing pens, the block directly opposite McDonald's

Setting: Typical old school Malay-ish restaurant, with a slight class in it
Atmosphere: 7/10 (nice and quiet, not really because of the lack of patronage, since maybe coz it's a little bit past lunch hour, but still it's a nice atmosphere and peaceful)
Design: 6.5/10 (pretty decent, with a hint of nostalgia and old school in between to make the place look classy, though it's odd that one side of the wall is all Brunei pics while the other side of the wall was all Tiger Woods pic)

Food: Chicken Rice Set B (my buddy's; rice with roasted chicken and sprouts)
Presentation: 7.5/10 (surprisingly big portion and in separate, since we expected it to be part of the rice within)
Taste: 7/10 (the sprouts were nice and crispy, showing that it's fresh, and the chicken has quite the strong coconut milk taste in it)

Food: Chicken Rice Set A (mine; rice with steamed chicken and kangkong)
Presentation: 7.5/10 (same comment for my buddy to mine)
Taste: 7/10 (the chicken is nice, sweet and tender, and the kangkong taste was just nice and juicy crisp, though still not the best kangkong I was really looking for though; I have a set target for that)

Overall, it's a pretty recommendable restaurant, has pretty good potential and the portion is nice and right and filling, and the price is very reasonable too.
