Z&C Restaurant & Catering Services

We decided to have some girls' day out during lunch hour and left to have lunch somewhere nearby our area again. After walking around for a while, we decided to eat here: Z&C Restaurant & Catering Services

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's also in Kiarong, situated about two blocks away from K.N.Y. Kitchen and just about 5 minutes walk away from our office

This be the interior of the restaurant. Looks just like any typical Malay restaurant, but the one that really caught my eye was the clock on the side wall. It was a typical Smiley Face clock and it just look so cute~!

These are our drinks: Carrot juice (mine) and warm lemon tea (my colleague). It's been a while since I actually drank carrot juice. The last time I drank was probably way back when. LOL!

My colleague ordered Nasi Lemak. Looks pretty good, and the interesting thing was that usually nasi lemak only comes with the belacan (shrimp paste) sauce and egg and small fishes that I grew up eating, but in Brunei, their nasi lemak is comparable to nasi katok, as they included a piece of fried chicken in it. I was going to take a close-up picture when she turned the plate. Ack!

This is my order: Belacan meehoon. Tastes pretty good, though, again, not as spicy as I hoped (I'm a bit of a sucker for spiciness), and I'd like it if they gave me more bean sprouts. It's my fav veggie.

We ate in a bit of a rush because we had a tender to do, but overall, it was a satisfying meal. So those who fancy a little light Malay dining, this is a good place
