Burger King

Another franchise has made its way to Brunei: Burger King! Apparently after years and years of being rejected, Burger King has finally gotten the green light to set foot into Brunei soil. Rumor has it that it's due to some sort of halal problem that Burger King has been barred from coming here, but then again, rumors will be rumors.

Anyhow, after quite a few weeks since it debut and finally getting a chance to go pay patronage to the place, let's blog about it right away!

Location: Downtown in Bandar Seri Begawan, just right next to Standard Chartered Bank

Setting: Typical BK fast food setting, though it's kinda sorta cramped, especially with the huge ass long line waiting for their turn to order

I was determined to sit there and have my meal like a decent human being because I don't want my burger to go all soggy by the time I get back home to eat it. I had my eye on every single seat to see if they are leaving or not (and missed one because my hubs didn't think that it's worth taking). Finally my patience and vigilance paid off when I spotted a counter seat just right next to me in my line, and I took that great opportunity and grabbed the shit outta that seat. After waiting a while, my hubby finally survived the long line and brought our ordered food.

It's not as good as what we ate in KK or Singapore, but still, it's a pretty satisfying meal nonetheless. That and we were quite hungry actually, but either way, it's quite yummy. Might even come back to have some more~!
