Sameer Sendirian Berhad

Another day, another entry of foodiez, starting off with a little Indian food, which is settled in Sameer Sendirian Berhad

Location: Within the Serusop area, just opposite the block where Easy Way Cafe and Hong Kong Bank is

Setting: More like a Malay store than an Indian store, actually, maybe because it could be run by either a Malay or a Indian Muslim
Atmosphere: 5/10 (feels the same as above)
Design: 4.5/10 (as above)

A random shot of the menu

Drinks: Coca Cola (my buddy) and Yeo's Soya Bean drink (mine)
Presentation: 5/10 (standard kopitiam presentation)
Taste: 5.5/10 (standard canned drinks tastes)

Appetizers: Crispy nans (I think)
Presentation: 5/10 (standard appetizers presentation)
Taste: 6/10 (nice and crispy, exactly as all Indian kopitiam/restaurant tastes)

Food: Chicken briyani with rice (my buddy) and fish masala with nan (mine)
Presentation: 8/10 and 8.5/10 respectively (looks pretty well-made and well-served for a Malay-ish Indian restaurant/kopitiam)
Taste: Dunno how does my buddy's food taste like, but mine is rated 7.5/10, tastes pretty similar with the one I always go to back at work, just a tad bit spicier

There you have it, a pretty good surprise for a rather small, not so decorative restaurant/kopitiam. Despite what my driving teacher said about it being not so good, I'm actually pretty satisfied with it
