Seasons Restaurant

Went to attend a relative's one-year-old birthday of his daughter, and we were all invited to Seasons Restaurant for a hi-tea buffet.

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located on the 2nd floor of the Centre Point Hotel, which is down in the Gadong area. I've been eating there for a few times now, but I think during that time it wasn't really much of a peak season, so the food was not very impressive, but then again, after these few years, who knows?

Trigger-happy on the pasta jar they put in display. That much amount of pasta would prolly last my mom-in-law a lifetime more or less

This be how the interior of the restaurant is. The settings and the air had changed since the last time I came here, in fact, it felt absolutely different, almost like this wasn't the Seasons I remember anymore. In fact the setting of the food display and the position seemed to have differed a lot since the last time I was here. Either it was set for the sake of the hi-tea birthday party or they've really undergone an extensive makeover

Below are the food display of the restaurant for the hi-tea buffet that I managed to take before the vultures get to them (which is apparently a fusion type of menu):

The main course section

The appetizer section, ready with the bread and butter and the toast-making machine

The salad section

The rojak section, with sauce included

Coffee, tea or me?

Sneak-peek of the main course, which includes dahl for the mini murtabaks...

Mini quiche...

HUGE amount of dim sum...

Some banana and prawn fritters...

Chicken porridge (I think)...

Lasagna...

...and some yummy frankfurters

Then the rest here would be the dessert section (also fusion style), which includes...

Bread and butter pudding...

Bubur cha-cha...

An assortment of delicious western cakes, confectioneries and pastries...

Ice-cream, with toppings of your choice...

And ABC

In the midst of our eating, we also discovered an extra main course which is basically pasta with the sauce of your choice, either spaghetti sauce or carbonara sauce

The top is my hubby's and the bottom is mine

It was an amazing treat that day. Another day of stuffing ourselves silly and feeling so bloated we don't even feel like having dinner. Urgh~! Reprisal may be necessary because I absolutely enjoyed myself eating there
