Restoran dan Sajian Adika

Couldn't decide on where to eat, so we decided to eat somewhere nearby, which is Restoran dan Sajian Adika

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's situated in Kiarong Complex area, just across the street from where my workplace is and just next to Nadj Restaurant. It's primarily an Indonesian restaurant selling fusion food, apparently under new management after a bit of changes and renovations here and there during the fasting month last year. Technically when I took this picture, it was my 2nd time being here, because the last time I forgot to bring my camera, but anywho...





This be the interior and some other trigger-happy items around. One look as you enter it, it would just feel like no other difference than it being like a Malay kopitiam restaurant, but once you sit down and pay attention to the surroundings (and the waitresses) you will actually notice the Indonesian feel to it, especially when you are bombarded with Indonesian TV series and soap operas playing through their TV with Astro Beyond

I ordered Nasi Pataya, just to try it out, and it's actually quite flavourful, though the egg kinda tastes a little bland, but then again, the saltiness of the fried rice pretty much compliments it


My kismesis ordered chicken fillet or something. The sauce looked pretty awesome and flavourful, and I actually stole a taste of the sauce. It was just nice. Not too salty and yet not to bland. Just right, but enough to burst into flavour inside your mouth. My kismesis said that he usually do not make comments on Indonesian restaurant, but he really has high regards for this

So if you're within the Kiarong Complex area and you want to have the best Indonesian fusion food, you can come and have a gander at this restaurant. You won't regret it ;d

Impian Rasa Restaurant

My friend and I went to go watch the Delhi2Dublin concert at Jerudong Park that week and was thinking of having dinner first before we go there. So since we were in Jerudong, we originally decided to have a bite at Restoran Aqil Shafiee but unfortunately it was closed so we decided to go for the one next door, which is Impian Rasa Restaurant

This be the signboard and entrance of the restaurant. It's located at the same block and in between Restoran Aqil Shafiee and HSBC Bank, all the way down in Jerudong. It pretty much is the only restaurant opened during that time within this proximity, so we decided to give it a shot

This be the interior of the restaurant. Nothing too special about it. Looks just like any other kopitiam restaurant, though I can't shake off the feeling that it does have a bit of Indian feel to it, even though it's a Malay restaurant

Apparently we have a restaurant pet in the house as this little kitty seemed to be pretty comfy being indoors and making himself at home on the seats

My friend ordered chicken rice, and apparently the ones that they have is the roast kind. It looks like it's got a nice juicy texture to it. You can literally see the glistening oil and sauce on it, but I didn't try it, so I can't comment on it



I ordered nasi ayam penyet (flat chicken rice), and unlike most chicken which they fried it to the point of dryness, this one was fried just right with the meat still retaining its juices inside, so it was a pretty good treat to eat, and the vegs were nice and fresh and crunchy, just the way I like it

Overall, it tastes pretty good and satisfying to us. So if you're within the area and crave for a bit of nice and simple Malay food, you can go ahead and drop in here

Sari Wangi Reprise

Just thought of doing a Sari Wangi reprisal, since the food that we ordered this time was pretty interesting-looking.

My order of tilapia fish with rice, as I'd like to see if its comparable or better than the ones they often sell in Sugarbun. Freshness aside, it's actually fairly crunchier than the one in Sugarbun, and slightly drier, whereas the one in Sugarbun is juicier


I totally forgot what was the name of my friend's order, but it's basically a chunkier fried version of chicken rice with more vegs in it, I think. Looks yummy, but I didn't try it

Apparently there was some sort of promotion going on to celebrate some sort of anniversary (though I forgot how many years was it) and were having some kick-ass offer meals, thus the area was pretty jam-packed with people when back then it used to just occupy one or two tables

It's one of those rare moments caught on camera that should not be overlooked for the sheer beauty of it

Bundusan Restaurant Sdn Bhd

On our last day in KK, my dad treat us to have dim sum breakfast nearby, so we went to this place called Bundusan Restaurant Sdn Bhd

This be the signboard of the restaurant. It's located within the Beverly area just a bit ways off Luyang where Reservoir Garden Phase II housing estates are. If I'm not mistaken, it is also the same area where Chong Kee Coffee Shop is the last time we came here


This be the interior of the restaurant. It's nice, big and spacious, though there is quite little customers around despite being the breakfast peak time, probably because of the nearby competition (or maybe coz there has been a bit of unprofessionalism going on in the restaurant that's really buzzing people off)

Overall we had a very filling breakfast, and it was quite yummy, every single one of them, though I'm still curious as to how the competition tastes like. But this is a good alternative and should give this a shot
