Back again with more new foodies, and now that I've started work, I can sort of afford them. LOL. This time we will try something close to where I work, which is My Town Eating House.
| Location: Batu Satu, where most of the Chinese restaurants like Sui Hing, Golden Leaf, Red Leaf and Lucky Restaurant are |
| Setting: Bistro food court kind of design, got a bit of rustic feel to it |
| My hubs' coffee, which is served in their own printed cup. So cute and quaint. If I'm not mistaken, their cups might be on sale too, though not sure how much is it per set or per cup |
| My carrot juice |
| My order of their in-house ayam penyet rice |
| My hubs' order of duck noodle soup |
The food there is pretty decent and the atmosphere is quite nice, not too cold, not too hot, and the slight rustic design is quite pleasing to the eye.
You can either order directly from the counter or you could take your time browsing through the menu at your seat and fill in the order sheet and bring it to the counter to keep from holding the line. Service is a little bit on the slow side, but it's nothing too big of a deal of as it's the usual type of slow when it's lunch rush hour, and the price is a little bit on the heavy side, but the taste is still worth the money. Despite that setback, it's still pretty recommendable to give it a try.
