All Seasons Restaurant Sdn Bhd

A new entry into the foodiez blog, and we're trying out this new restaurant called All Seasons Restaurant Sdn Bhd in the Times Square near my area, since I'm craving for a bit of outdoor food.

Location: Within Times Square Shopping Mall, on the 1st (or was it 2nd?) floor of the mall

Setting: Typical high-class-ish Chinese restuarant
Atmosphere: 6.5/10 (feels pretty high class enough, though sadly it might have put off some diners for its high class style and feel)
Design: 8.5/10 (nice and suited for the high-class feel of the restaurant, though not so much to attract enough of people, thinking it'll be too expensive for their wallets)

Trigger-happy on the menu

Drinks: Apple juice (my hubby), carrot juice (mine), Coca-Cola Light and lime juice (my hubby's buddies)
Presentation: 6.5/10 overall (standard procedure, nothing big)
Taste: 6.5/10 (for mine; I dunno how others taste like, but mine is pretty much a-OK, standard taste, not too sweet, not too bland)

Appetizers: Nuts and pickles
Presentation: 6.5/10 (standard display of Chinese appetizer, though I'm surprised they'd mixed the nuts in it instead of the usual separation)
Taste: 6/10 (not too shabby, but then again I only tasted the nuts, LOL)

Food: Hot and spicy soup, sweet and sour chicken (I think), black pepper ribs, claypot tofu and fried fish nuggets (or something like that; totally forgot what it's actually called
Presentation: 7.5/10 overall (looks pretty appetizing and smells good too, makes you wanna just dig in ; p)
Taste: 7.5/10 overall (the soup is prolly the best--though maybe it's coz I like spicy stuff--and the chicken is flavorful, the ribs got the right amount of pepper in it, though I'd prefer if it had slightly more ribs in it, the tofu is also nice, though I would prefer if it's Japanese tofu instead, and the fish was so-so, needs to be a bit crispier)

Overall, it's not a bad restaurant to give a shot to. Price maybe slightly a little dear on the wallet, but the food is pretty much worth it. Besides, this restaurant is just setting down its roots and it's gonna need all the support and patronage
