Countrypatch Reintroduced

A new branch of the Countrypatch Cafe franchise opened at Times Square, and since we were gonna eat out before watching the Jack Reacher movie, my hubby and I decided to patronage that place, since it looks kinda empty and...well...sad

Overall, the standard taste for the food was just like the original branch in Kiulap, can't really fault it much. The only sad thing was the atmosphere and the patronage, because we were the only guests there eating and the restaurant was completely empty and devoid of guests there.

But then again, maybe it's because it's almost close to closing time for the shopping mall anyways, since we were going to watch a 9.40 show and we had our dinner at around 8-ish and shopping malls here usually start to close at around 9

A reprisal possible, but so far, a pretty satisfying meal

Kimchi Korean BBQ Restaurant

Family friends and relatives from Singapore and KK came over to attend a wedding, so we all decided to have Korean for dinner, and where else but at Kimchi Korean BBQ Restaurant. Technically this is my second time being here (totally forgot I have been here once before with my buddy), but since I didn't have a camera at the time, I didn't do a piece till now.

We ordered set dinner of BBQ and Shabu-Shabu, so this is how it's done:

The side dishes/appetizers

Chicken (succulent and juicy, but sadly portion very little and had to share it among 6 people)

Lamb (same goes here, so sad that it needs to be shared among so many people)

Seafood (shrimp, squid, clams and mussels)

Shabu-shabu (with tons of veggies and just chicken set, bit into the ginseng root meant for the soup and it was damn bitter XP)

Overall, the dinner was not too bad, but sadly the portion was kinda little that it wasn't very filling. If they had ordered double the set, maybe it would've suffice, but sadly our guests are small eaters, so yeah. A reprisal may be possible.
